Overview

Wildspire’s Classic Encounters Expansion Set I brings a robust collection of 60 iconic D&D miniatures to your table, designed to enhance both painting sessions and game nights. Each piece is assembled at a 28mm heroic scale, balancing bold silhouettes with fine detailing that reads well on both maps and display shelves. The mix of hard PVC and ABS plastics provides a crisp edge and a sturdy feel, giving you reliable minis that withstand the rhythm of regular tabletop play without sacrificing character or charm.

Quality, Material, and Finish

The figures arrive unpainted and unprimed, inviting you to craft your own color story from base tone to shading. The durable plastic blend helps capture textures—from rough armor etchings to draped fabrics—while keeping the components light enough for quick repositioning during sessions. This combination of materials aims to deliver durable minis with heightened detail, so you can enjoy a tactile, rewarding hobby alongside your campaigns.

Painting Tips and Care

Priming is optional but recommended to maximize color depth and adhesion. Use acrylic hobby paints designed for PVC/ABS plastics, starting with a light base coat and building up shadows and highlights for richer, more dimensional figures. Handling care and gentle cleaning before painting can help preserve crisp details during priming and painting.
