Description
xMeet LEGO City 60324 Off-Road Crane, a true build-and-play set designed for kids ages 7 and up. The model sits on a sturdy six-wheeled truck, with movable stabilizing feet and a crane that turns, extends, and uses a winch to lift and lower loads. This combination creates engaging, hands-on play that mirrors real-world construction scenarios—without leaving the living room.
The set includes a crane operator and a driver, plus practical accessories like a wrench, a walkie-talkie, and two protective helmets. Small details invite richer pretend-play, from role-driven conversations to on-site problem solving. A LEGO City road plate is included and can be winched into place, then connected to other compatible sets to help you expand a growing city layout.
In terms of scale and build, the model stands about 9 cm tall, runs 25 cm long, and 8 cm wide, assembled from 340 pieces. Printed and digital building instructions are included; the free LEGO Building Instructions app lets kids enlarge, rotate, and view the model from every angle, supporting exploration and independent progress as they build.
Why this set makes sense for a LEGO City collection: it introduces action-forward play with a mobile crane, encourages storytelling about job-site teamwork, and fits with other road-plate-enabled vehicles to extend city-building possibilities. While outcomes depend on a child’s choices and imagination, this crane can spark creative play, collaborative storytelling with siblings, and repeated adventures as the city grows.
