Fromage Board Game by Road To Infamy Games | French Cheesemaking Strategy

Fromage: a French cheesemaking strategy game

Step into the role of a skilled cheesemaker in early 20th century France, guiding your creamery toward lasting prestige. Fromage blends thematic flavor with accessible mechanics that reward careful planning, resource management, and smart timing. Designed for 2-4 players ages 14 and up, with approximately 30 minutes per session, it fits both casual play and more deliberate rounds.

Gameplay unfolds as a simultaneous worker-placement challenge. Each round, you place workers to craft artisanal cheeses and gather essential resources from the quadrant that faces you. When all players have placed, the board rotates to reveal a fresh quadrant and new opportunities to place workers. This rotating mechanic keeps decisions feeling fresh and invites you to adapt your strategy on the fly, mirroring the dynamic nature of a busy creamery during peak seasons.

Successful cheese trading hinges on timing and selling to four different locations across the map. As you age and upgrade your creamery, you can improve production efficiency and unlock new ways to turn your stock into Prestige Points. The race to prestige is lively yet thoughtful, offering space for bold experiments and careful risk management without guaranteeing outcomes—you’re playing for possibilities, not promises.
