Across four and a half years, the flax market and farm life shape your choices as you balance lush fields, winding dikes, peat bogs, and a growing village. The game blends tactile farming tasks with strategic planning, all set against a rustic, sun-warmed landscape that feels alive with wind, water, and the distant clack of carts and ships.
What you’ll do each game
Hours unfold in half-year blocks where you decide how to spend your time. Your options span flax farming, caring for livestock, draining bogs, and laying out fields for future crops. Building structures can unlock new possibilities, while seasonal shifts encourage you to adapt your plan as fields and villages evolve.
- Farm the land by clearing, plowing, and planting; manage peat to dry and harvest.
- Develop the village with dikes, buildings, and productive plots for livestock or timber.
Progress, travel, and points
As you accumulate goods, you’ll ship them with a growing fleet of vehicles. More ships mean more opportunities to reach distant buyers and gain Travel Experience, which translates into points as the years advance. The economy of your farm expands as you balance land, livestock, and trade routes.
